Warm, sunny days, good thermals and the autumn season, which resembles spring with the length of the light day, encourage golden eagles as well as other species of birds of prey and owls to the so-called false flow and wedding summers.
Above the mountain part of the Veľká Fatra Mountains, visitors to the Veľká Fatra National Park can experience an unusual theater these days. Eagles circle, glide and glide over the open ridge for days. They often perform “swinging”, aerial flips, lopings and in some cases even carrying material in their claws. All this takes place in a group over a territory that is not the territory of either of the couples. Often we can see 6 or more birds together and it is obvious that these are adult couples and their young, but foreign birds can also be added.
We managed to document this unusual theater during a sunny weekend.
