Čremošnianske lazy

If you are looking for a place with endless meadows where children can have fun to their heart’s content, meet a flock of sheep, swing on swings and enjoy beautiful views together, go to Čremošnianske lazy.

You can start this trip in the village of Čremošné, or you can drive up to Čremošianske sedlo, where you will park. If you leave the car in the village, hike a few serpentines uphill, you will extend the trip a bit.

From Čremošnianske sedlo, follow the blue trail towards Čremošnianske lazy. It’s a walk in the meadows, nothing difficult. On the left side, the Turčianska basin opens up to you and on the right the hills of the Veľká Fatra. After about 10 minutes, you will arrive at Čremošnianske lazy, there is also a hotel, guesthouse, tennis courts. At the signpost, you can continue along the yellow trail and you will reach Husný vrch (775 m above sea level).

You will walk through the meadows up a slight hill until you reach a beautiful swing. At the finish line on Husný vrch, another and also interesting wooden bench will be waiting for you. The views from here are so beautiful that you won’t be able to get enough of it. You can also go to Husný vrch from the village of Háj.

You will return along the same route and you may even meet a flock of sheep from a nearby sheepfold. Be sure to stop there and buy local goodies. The shepherd’s hut is located behind the Čremošnianské sedlo. Čremošnianske lazy is therefore one of the ideal walks with children, which you will also enjoy.
