What we support

  • we support the management of permanent grassland in ways that contribute to maintaining or improving the quality of habitats and to creating suitable conditions for various species of plants and animals,
  • specific conditions are determined for individual sites, taking into account the needs and possibilities of the manager (e.g. type of livestock, availability of water sources for watering, housing or basketing possibilities, measures to protect the herd, access to the site, etc.) and at the same time the natural conditions of the site (e.g. type of vegetation, occurrence of rare and endangered species of flora and fauna, occurrence of habitats with specific requirements for management methods; slope of the terrain, wetlands or rocky parts, occurrence of expansively spreading species deteriorating the condition of permanent grasslands, succession of tree species, etc.),
  • The requirements of nature conservation, the implementation of which brings a beneficial effect for nature and the farmer, include, for example, mowing of undergrazing areas, mowing of expansive plant communities (e.g. nettles, prickly pears) before they are seeded, care for watering holes and basketing areas (modifications of gutters, reinforcement of areas with natural material if necessary), timely repositioning of baskets, directing the movement of animals in areas that are waterlogged or for other reasons more at risk of erosion, regulation of the intensity or length of grazing so that the stands are sufficiently regenerated, fertilization only with organic fertilizers (manure, poultry droppings, compost), an appropriate degree of suppression of tree succession (pasture clearing), appropriate placement of mineral licks, mowing of meadows from the center of the area to the edges, etc.,
  • Some entities have been operating in the area for a long time and as long as they meet the above requirements, we will be happy to continue to support them in their activities.

What we don’t support

  • we do not support activities that are contrary to the activities listed in the previous article,
  • we do not support activities that cause damage to habitats, e.g. by significant erosion,
  • we do not support the unnecessary requirements of the PPA for the implementation of mulching of blueberry stands in the forest zone, which makes absolutely no sense for practical grazing and at the same time damages the habitat of the subject of protection of the VF National Park, the capercaillie and the black grouse,
  • we do not support the unfair use of private land and land managed by the SPF, the user of which is not the owner and for which he does not have a lease agreement and at the same time receives support from public funds,
  • we do not support activities that violate the provisions of Act No. 543/2002 Coll. on Nature and Landscape Protection, e.g. the user does not have the consent of the nature and landscape protection authorities for the required activities.
