The Administration of the Veľká Fatra National Park fulfils its promise that national parks will try to provide firewood for heating within their possibilities for citizens with permanent residence in municipalities whose cadastral territory is located in the national park or in its protection zone.
We started providing the first deliveries of firewood in 2023 in June for the citizens of the village of Ľubochňa.
The expected volume of firewood delivered during 2023 for the municipalities near the Ľubochnianska Valley should be approximately 2,000 m3, which represents 3,700 cubic meters of firewood, and for the municipality of Liptovské Revúce approximately 500 m3, which represents 930 cubic meters of firewood.
We hope that the possibility of purchasing firewood by the citizens of municipalities near the Veľká Fatra National Park will be perceived as a positive step on the part of the Administration of the Veľká Fatra National Park towards their needs.
