Many thanks to the volunteers for cleaning the Harmanecká tisina National Nature Reserve from illegal waste

Volunteers in the Clean Slovakia action in the Harmanecká tisina National Nature Reserve

As part of the initiative of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic “Clean Slovakia”, we met yesterday, 29.9.2022, despite the bad weather, in the village of Dolný Harmanec in the number of 17 volunteers. We have joined forces with the Veľká Fatra National Park, the Municipal Forests of BB, the village of Dolný Harmanec and the Voluntary Fire Brigade of Dolný Harmanec to all contribute to a cleaner Slovakia. We collected 30 bags of garbage, several tires and plastics in the Harmanecká tisina National Nature Reserve. The waste was located mainly in the vicinity of the road rest areas of the road 1/14 Šturec and in its wider surroundings. As in previous events, we followed the motto: “Every bag has a meaning”!!
