We are very pleased that our environmental education officers managed to start cooperation with schools in the competence area of the Veľká Fatra National Park during 2023.
Only in the period September – December, they taught 55 environmental educational programs (ERA). 1053 pupils from kindergarten to high school literally got to know nature with all their senses. The pupils absorbed knowledge about our Veľká Fatra National Park in a playful way as part of the NPVF – Forest Animals for Younger Pupils and in the version for older pupils of the NPVF + Nature Conservation. They delved deeper into the issue of coexistence of carnivores and humans in the programs Year of the Bear and Beasts in the NPVF – Brown Bear. ?
The EVP took place mostly indoors, but we are already looking forward to the warmer season, when we will also go out into nature with the children and explore the beauty and secrets of our national park directly in the field. ☀️
We would like to thank the pedagogical staff very much for the interest of pedagogical staff in our newly established programs and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the new year 2024.
