In the near future, we plan to carry out sanitation mining in the Gaderská Valley, specifically in the section from Chatova osada to the turn to Blatnica Castle. For the safety of visitors, dry and infected trees will be removed from the vicinity of the road.

Addition of information after the end of remediation mining:
In the Gaderská Valley, in the section from the Cottage area to the turn to Blatnica Castle, along the road, there was 50 m3 of wood. The clearance mining in the Gaderská Valley was aimed at removing dried and infested trees with the spruce bark beetle, which threatened the safety of visitors on the busy valley road. The aim is to provide a safer environment for visitors and prevent damage caused by falling branches. The felling was carried out on 9.6.2025 and took a total of 1/2 day. In the following period, we still have to put the activities in order so that visitors to the beautiful Gaderská Valley feel safe and comfortable.
Logging is carried out right now, before the beginning of the storm season, due to the increased danger posed by dried trees and falling branches. The priority is to protect visitors and prevent possible injuries or damage to property. At the same time, it should be emphasized that logging is carried out with maximum respect for nature and birds. In this way, we minimize the negative impact on nesting birds and at the same time ensure safety for visitors.
