🌿 We invite you to a botanical excursion to Smrekovica! 🌿
Lovers of nature, plants and mountain scenery, join us on an exceptional botanical expedition to the heart of the Veľká Fatra! 🏔️
🌱 The excursion will be led by Ing. Viktória Chilová, who will introduce you to the lesser-known botanical treasures of the area.
📍 Where?
- route from Smrekovica, through the Rocky Alps to Rakytov with a beautiful panoramic view in all directions
- easy to moderately demanding hiking with expert commentary
- one of the most beautiful and botanically richest sites in the Veľká Fatra
- depending on the weather, the length of the route will be adjusted
📅 When and where?
- 21.6.2025 (registration is possible until 20.6.2025),
- The number of seats is limited, you can register via e-mail rezervacie@npvf.sk (it is necessary to provide your name, number of people, mobile phone and boarding station) until the bus capacity is full (we will send a confirmation e-mail back)
- departure from Martin (bus station) 7:20, Sučany (bus stop at Tesco) approx. 7:30, Ľubochňa (parking lot at the Institute of Endocrinology) approx. 7:50, Ružomberok (in front of the railway station) approx. 8:15, Podsuchá (bus stop) approx. 8:40
- the bus will be marked with a poster “A Day with an Expert”

Each participant moves in the field at their own risk and we recommend that you arrange one-day insurance for the mountains. In the event of significantly bad weather, the event will be moved to another date.
