“Let’s help the owls nest”

The administration of the National Slingshot of the Great Fatra in cooperation with the community of kukaj.sk and the village of Nolčovo invite you to an event called: “We will help owls nest”. The purpose of this event is to acquaint the general public with the hidden way of life of our owls. Owls have long been shrouded in many myths and superstitions, if you want to learn more about their lives, take part in the upcoming event with us.

Those interested will be able to listen to a lecture on owls of the National Slingshot of the Veľká Fatra in the introductory part, and later there will be a joint production of owl booths.

We will be honored by the visit of a former employee of TANAPU – zoologist Palo Ballo, who has prepared a very interesting lecture for you associated with the screening of the film “Mercúň”.

For the little ones, but also for all those who want to test their knowledge in the field of nature and landscape conservation, there are knowledge quizzes with nice prizes.
