As the activity of bears in the old beech and fir forest has stopped for a few months, we have prepared a new view of the so-called “kalisko” npvelkafatra.sopsr.sk/ziva-kamera – an artificially created lake that will be used to muddy wild boar and deer, which get rid of skin parasites by mudding and also effectively cool down during the summer heat. You can certainly look forward to regular visits by bears, as there is no other water source near the site. It was by building the “cup” that we tried to make the ridge site more attractive for animals. We assume that in the autumn months, wolves and lynxes may appear in front of the camera, attracted by the smell of ratic game. So far, the following have stopped at the lake to drink: fox, badger, marten, bear, deer and the predator of the beekeeper and the barn owl.
