As every year, we have focused on more intensive monitoring of carnivores. It is primarily an effort to map the intensity of the movement of the predatory wolf at selected locations for the later purpose of capture and telemetric tracking of individuals. Various types of photo traps are used for monitoring. The effort is to know as well as possible the time, day and night rhythm of wolf activity in the locality and also to record the intensity of movement during 10 consecutive days. The quality of knowledge of the activity of the monitored pack is crucial for the effectiveness of capture and subsequent monitoring of tagged individuals. In addition to wolves, deer, wild boar, bear, fox and badger also appear on the mapped routes. A selection of several images from 16.8 to 6.9.2020 is offered below the article.
