Katová skala is located at an altitude of 860 m above sea level above the Kantorská valley and the village of Sklabinský Podzámok. A red tourist sign leads to Katová skala. The ascent takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes.
The beginning of the route is steeper, but short. Children will be pleased with the ladder, which they will climb into the forest, where the route is less steep and leads through serpentines. Along the way, you can discover karst formations, moss-covered rocks and small caves. From the top, there are beautiful views of the Turčianska basin and the peaks of the Veľká Fatra.
