Krížna with a height of 1,574 m above sea level is the third highest peak of the Veľká Fatra. The distinctive, forestless massif offers wide panoramic views. Three red-marked hiking trails meet at the top, making it an important crossroads for ridge hikes.
The classic circular route leads from Turecká through Kráľova studňa and measures approximately 18.5 km with an elevation gain of 1,100 m. In winter, Krížna is known as the “Mother of Avalanches” because of its smooth steep slopes.
