Krížna, at an elevation of 1,574 m, is the third highest peak of the Great Fatra. The distinctive, treeless massif offers wide panoramic views. Three red-marked hiking trails meet at the summit, making it an important crossroads for ridge hikes.
The classic circular route leads from Turecká through Kráľova studňa and measures approximately 18.5 km with an elevation gain of 1,100 m. In winter, Krížna is known as the “Mother of Avalanches” because of its smooth steep slopes.
