“CLEAN SLOVAKIA”
On 23.9.2022, the employees of the Veľká Fatra National Park Administration , as part of the initiative of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic “Clean Slovakia” in cooperation with the Primary School with Kindergarten – Liptovské Revúce, the municipality of Liptovské Revúce, volunteers and employees of the Low Tatras National Park Administration , collected 22 bags, mostly municipal waste. In addition, we pulled out several tires, metal waste from the river, such as: metal sheets, door frames, parts of old fences and the like. We cleaned several sections of the river, with the first group starting from the area of the Revúce Primary School and proceeding in the direction of the flow to the mouth of the Teplô valley. The weather was good, the atmosphere was excellent and despite the fact that we initially expected more participation. Thanks to the diligence and positive attitude of the participants, a lot was collected. We stuck to the motto: “Every bag has a meaning!”
