It is easily identified by its &#8220;bald spot.&#8221; While its northern side is forested, the southern side consists of grassy slopes that offer breathtaking views of the Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra ridge and the peaks of Mal\u00e1 Fatra, including Ve\u013ek\u00fd Rozsutec and K\u013eak. In good weather, you can even see the Low, High, and Western Tatras. You can start your route in Jasensk\u00e1 dolina (following the blue trail behind the Lysec mountain hut). For a change, you can descend along the yellow trail. You can also continue to Mal\u00fd Lysec and further to the popular Chata pod Bori\u0161ovom (on the Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra ridge), though this is a more time-consuming trek.      <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lysec is a peak that is recognizable from a great distance.
