Plosk\u00e1 is certainly one of the most uniquely shaped peaks in Slovakia. Thanks to its rounded forms, you can easily recognize it from afar. The expansive grassy summit seems to characterize all of Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra\u2014especially its beautiful mountain meadows. Plosk\u00e1 is accessible from Vy\u0161n\u00e1 Rev\u00faca via gently ascending terrain. You can also reach the summit of Plosk\u00e1 when traversing the Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra ridge, for example from Chata pod Bori\u0161ov, from where you have it right in front of you. The views from Plosk\u00e1 are among the most beautiful that all of Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra has to offer. They are panoramic to the distant horizon and you feel as if you are in the middle of all the hills. You will see Mal\u00e1 Fatra, the Low and High Tatras, and the Western Tatras. Plosk\u00e1 is also a popular ski mountaineering destination.
