Rakytov is undoubtedly one of the greatest gems of Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra. It is the highest peak of the Liptov branch of the main ridge of Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra. You can take a hike to enjoy the beautiful views from Rakytov along the yellow trail from Liptovsk\u00e9 Rev\u00face from the Tepl\u00f4 area through Tepl\u00e1 dolina valley. You can make the route more pleasant with a rest and a visit to \u00datul\u0148a Limba. Another ascent route leads from Smrekovica through Rakytovsk\u00e9 sedlo, and you can also get here from Chata pod Bori\u0161ovom through Plosk\u00e1. The summit of Rakytov offers a panoramic view of Mal\u00e1 Fatra, the Low Tatras, Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra, and in good weather you can even see Cho\u010d or the High Tatras.
