The surroundings of Mo\u0161ovce, meadows and forests invite you to take a pleasant walk in the environment below the Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra. Whether you go in the spring, when nature comes to life, in winter, when the world is under a white duvet and you pull the children on a sledge, or at any other time, you will definitely fall in love with the surroundings of Mo\u0161ovce. <\/p>\n

The starting point will be the Drienok area. Here you can park and hit the road. You will go straight along the yellow sign. After a while, this sign turns right and leads to the top of Drie\u0148ok. You can go there next time \u2013 that’s more difficult hiking. <\/p>\n

You continue straight along the dirt road and before heading to the forest, enjoy the beautiful views of the Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra Mountains. On the left, you will have a view of crouched cottages and cottages. When you walk through the forest, a view of the surrounding meadows and a beautiful alley opens up – R\u00e9vayovsk\u00e1 alley. Not far from there is also the baron’s grave – the grave of Franti\u0161ek R\u00e9vay. It’s not right next to the road, but it’s a short walk away, and a sign with an arrow will show you the direction. The R\u00e9vay family acquired Mo\u0161ovce in 1527 from the ruler Ferdinand I of Habsburg together with half of Sklabina Castle. Count Franti\u0161ek was the last representative of the R\u00e9vay family. He is the only one who does not lie in the family tomb, but at his own request he was buried in the forest, where he liked to go. <\/p>\n

Near the grave there is also a nicely landscaped spring, which is dedicated to the last representative of the R\u00e9vay family from Mo\u0161ovce. The easiest way to get to the spring is from the crossroads, which is under the count’s grave. There is drinking water in the spring, which will pleasantly refresh you, especially in the summer months. <\/p>\n

When you get back on the road and continue along it, after about 10 minutes you will reach a beautiful farm. At Jack Farm, you will be greeted by horses and a donkey, who are used to people and will immediately walk towards you. You may also meet a nice owner on the farm grounds, who, if he has time, will certainly tell you something interesting about the animals and the farm area. A really beautiful end to the trip. <\/p>\n

You will just return the same way to the Drienok area. I believe that you will have only positive impressions of the trip, whether from the surrounding nature, animals and attractions along the way. <\/p>\n
