The administration of the Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra National Park also commemorates the International Day of Nature Rangers today, 31.07.2024. ( WRD \u2013 World Rangers Day ). <\/p>\n

Its basic purpose is to honor the memory of the deceased and injured nature rangers who sacrificed their lives and health in the performance of this demanding profession. Their main task is to ensure compliance with the Act on Nature and Landscape Protection, to monitor the state of animals, plants and habitats, to inform and educate not only visitors to protected areas, but all those who care about maintaining our common natural values. They do their work not only during their jobs, but practically also in their free time. <\/p>\n

Therefore, through today’s reminder, we want to thank all volunteer and professional nature rangers. THANK YOU!<\/strong><\/p>\n
