{"id":5641,"date":"2023-07-21T14:53:01","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T12:53:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npvelkafatra.sk\/restoration-of-the-hiking-trail\/"},"modified":"2026-04-28T13:09:58","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T11:09:58","slug":"restoration-of-the-hiking-trail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npvelkafatra.sk\/en\/restoration-of-the-hiking-trail\/","title":{"rendered":"Restoration of the hiking trail"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>The Administration of the Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra National Park based in Martin and ULPS Urb\u00e1r Blatnica in cooperation with the municipality of Blatnica, the Blatnica Volunteer Fire Brigade, the Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra Mountain Rescue Service, the Club of Slovak Tourists and Turiec.Run organized a pleasant and especially beneficial Restoration of the hiking trail located in the Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra National Park.<\/h5>\n<p>The first year of this activity took place on 13.7.2023 in the afternoon so that more volunteers could join. In total, a group of about 50 members participated in the restoration of the hiking trail.  <\/p>\n<p>The modification took place on a marked hiking trail in the length of 8 km connecting the Gadersk\u00e1 valley in the area of Konsk\u00fd dol and the Blatnick\u00e1 valley in the locality of Juria\u0161ova.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ui-provider fz b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak\" dir=\"ltr\">The main task was to remove obstacles on the trail in the form of fallen trees, branches or rocks. In some places, where the original route was changed due to fallen trees, it was necessary to level the terrain or create steps to prevent possible injuries to visitors to the Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra National Park. One of the goals was also to prevent access to unmarked trails, which people use to shorten their journey.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p>A big thank you to all participants for their time and willingness to help in the implementation of a beneficial cause. We believe that our cooperation will continue at other events. At the same time, we invite visitors to take a walk along the restored hiking trail and also to other locations of the Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra National Park.
